Thank you, Erik Mace, for amending the web site comments based my earlier post.

I appreciated your very prompt response. And, I hope that the Feb. 7 meeting with the
Beaverton City Council leads to changes that preserve at least some of the zoning restrictions that were in force under the County's planned development of Peterkort properties.

To the Appeal Team:
I would like to see removal from this site the notion that the Beaverton Planning Staff and Planning Commission are attempting to "run a fast one" or "to deceive" anybody. I believe that the staff and Commission members are acting in good faith and are performing a public service.

I would like to see the appeal oriented primarily, if not solely, on the issue of residential development close to the MAX station, and phasing of residential development concurrent with the commercial development.

I am glad that your group is appealing the decisions made by the Beaverton City Planning Commission. I, too, am concerned about the magnitude of the "allowable" commercial/retail development in our midst, especially in the heart of the Sunset Station Community. Also, the timing set forth that allows massive commercial development to occur prior to any residential development is antithetical to the purpose of the Station Community.

Thank you for bringing this to the community's attention!
