Neighbors For Smart Growth recognizes that sustainable land use is a critical element of community livability. This includes efforts to promote wise use of resources, limit urban sprawl, and protect the ecosystems on which we depend. While we recognize the need for development, we seek to prevent uncontrolled growth from detrimentally changing the character of our neighborhoods. Our members engage in a variety of sustainable land use efforts, including support for urban renewal and environmental restoration programs.
