Neighborhood Habitat Restoration Work Parties (monthly, every 3rd Sunday)
NFSG™ will host habitat restoration and invasive species removal events along North Johnson Creek on the third Sunday of each month (weather dependent) as part of our local community trail extension project. Check back here or on our facebook events page for more current info.

March 17, 2018: Friends of Trees planting on Headwaters of N. Johnson Creek
Date/Time: Sunday, March 17, from 9am-1pm
Meeting Location: We will meet at St Vincent’s Hospital “Physician and Employee Parking Garage” NE corner of St.Vincent Hospital off of SW Barnes Road.

Join Friends of Trees to plant trees and shrubs as part of the North Johnson Creek Trail Extension project to increase wildlife habitat and restore natural areas along North Johnson Creek.

Gloves, tools, and expert planting guidance provided, as well as breakfast snacks and coffee/hot chocolate! No experience necessary, all are welcome!

Also if you are an Intel employee, please log your hours with Intel Involved (we earn an additional $10 per hour each employee contributes their time.) See here.

Meeting Location: Please meet at SW corner of Catlin Gabel School’s sports field. Enter the school gate at SW 90th Ave and Westhaven Drive.
Additional Information: Please sign the volunteer log when you arrive so our project receives credit for your volunteer time.
