Westhaven Metro Restoration and Trail Planning Grant Update

On March 12th, Neighbors For Smart Growth held a public meeting to present an update on our North Johnson Creek habitat restoration and nature trail planning project (original invite below). As many of you know, we have been working on this exciting project in partnership with local residents and community organizations for the past several years, made possible in part through grant funding from Metro’s Nature In Neighborhoods program.

Please see below and download slides that were presented at the meeting on March 12th. Public input was solicited in-person at the meeting, and will continue to be accepted via online survey (click here) through March 21, 2020. This feedback will help inform project decisions as we move forward with project partners.

Thank you for your interest and participation!

I may have missed something important but from what I read in the powerpoint presentation it would appear that alternative 2 would have the least impact on the area and be the less expensive option to pursue.
